SEMINAR ON ETHICS IN THE AUDIT OFFICE OF THE INSTITUTIONS OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

On April 20, 2023, Ivan Klešić, Auditor General of the Republic of Croatia, Nediljka Rogošić, Deputy Auditor General, Lidija Pernar, Assistant Auditor General and Marijana Verovic, Senior Auditor paid a visit to the Audit Office of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where, at the invitation of the Audit Office of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, also a seminar on ethics was held.
 
During the seminar, the ethical frameworks of both institutions were presented, including a review of ethical aspects in audit processes, and presentations and discussions were held on the topic of ethics, ethical codes, and tools for monitoring and evaluation. Discussions were also held on the topic of ethical dilemmas in auditing with examples from practice and ethics auditing in the public sector, including an example of auditing the effectiveness of the functioning of the ethical infrastructure in the public sector bodies of the Republic of Croatia and a review of ethics auditing in political parties. The seminar ended with a presentation of the activities of EUROSAI's Network on Ethics chaired by the State Audit Office of the Republic of Croatia, followed by a constructive discussion on the topics presented.
