EUROSAI Online Session on the Accessibility of Audit Reports to the Public and Other Stakeholders
On 25 June 2026 the EUROSAI Presidency organized an international professional session on the accessibility of audit reports to the public and other stakeholders.
The first part of the event featured a panel discussion in which, in addition to Matanyahu Englman, State Comptroller and Ombudsman of Israel, Ivan Klešić, Auditor General of the Republic of Croatia, Hilde François, President of the Belgian Court of Audit, and Douni Sotiria, President of the Greek Court of Auditors, participated.
During the panel, participants discussed who are the key stakeholders of Supreme Audit Institutions, how to ensure that audit reports and findings reach target groups, which strategies, tools, channels and practices are most effective in strengthening and maintaining communication with stakeholders with a special focus on citizens and the media, which innovative approaches and measures Supreme Audit Institutions can take to increase public trust and public oversight in a broader sense, and more.
In the second part of the conference, an online discussion was held with all participants, in which, among others, Nediljka Rogošić, Deputy Auditor General, and her associates answered questions related to contemporary challenges in communicating with the public and the ways in which Supreme Audit Institutions ensure that their reports effectivelly reach all relevant stakeholders.
