Signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding

On Monday, 7 March 2016, mr. Ivan Klešić, Auditor General, held a meeting in the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg, with mr. Oscar Herics, members of the European Court of Auditors and mr. Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, President of the Polish Supreme Audit Office. The purpose of the meeting was to enforce and strengthen the cooperation between the three institutions through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding related to the performance of joint audit on JASPERS (The Joint Assistance to Support Projects in European Regions). The purpose and objective of this audit is to determine the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the success of JASPERS in improving the quantity and quality of project proposals for co-financing from European Union structural funds, and also achieve mutual exchange of knowledge, experiences and good audit practices between the State Audit Office of the Republic of Croatia, the Supreme Audit Office of Poland and European Court of Auditors.
