The Annual Meeting of representatives of the Competent National Audit Bodies (CNAB) and the International Board of Auditors for NATO (IBAN)
The Annual Meeting of representatives of the Competent National Audit Bodies (CNAB) and the International Board of Auditors for NATO (IBAN) was held on 15 May 2025 at the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Brussels. The CNAB is composed of representatives of 32 NATO member states, usually supreme audit institutions. The Meeting was attended by the Auditor General Ivan Klešić and the Assistant Auditor General Igor Karlović.
The main topic of this year's Meeting was the discussion of the Report on the Activities of the International Board of Auditors for NATO (IBAN) for 2024. Representatives of 28 NATO member states participated in the work, while representatives of the Supreme Audit Institution of Ukraine and the European Court of Auditors attended as special guests.
Four presentations were also held as part of the Annual Meeting: International cooperation between IBAN, Supreme Audit Institutions and INTOSAI; Security challenges and the role of the Supreme Audit Institution of Ukraine in times of war; Audit methodology within the framework of IBAN and the presentation of the European Court of Auditors on the Special Audit Report related to military mobility.
